A Series of Unfortunate Events

Last week I was ill for two days, which involved fever and a soar throat, but also watching the first season of A Series of Unfortunate Events on Netflix. Here’s my thoughts.

Lucifer Season 2

After my positive review of Lucifer season 1, I feel obliged to also present my far less positive review of season. Season 2 manages to do just about everything wrong that season 1 did right.

So, spoiler warning: I’m going to break down season 2, revealing a lot about season 1 in the process. Note that I haven’t seen all of season 2 yet, but I’ve seen enough for a review. Also, it will take another month or so to soldier on through the last few episodes and my scathingness is now fresh.

2018

2018 is nearly over. It’s been a hell of a year, and as the end of the year approaches, it’s a good time to look back at everything that’s happened.

Assassin’s Creed Origins

Assassin’s Creed Origins is the tenth game in the Assassin’s Creed series. I’ve played the first seven, but gave both part eight (Unity) and nine (syndicate) a pass. Origins is apparently something new, and it was created after Ubisoft finally took a break from yearly releasing new additions to the franchise. Let’s have a look.
